MEMORANDUM

SOCIETY OF TRAUMA ANAESTHESIA AND CRITICAL CARE

1. 1. NAME : The name of the Society shall be "SOCIETY OF TRAUMA ANAESTHESIA AND CRITICAL CARE".
2. 2. REGISTERED OFFICE :The registered office of the Society shall be situated at Room No. 42,Nehru Hospital,PGIMER, Chandigarh - 160012
3. 3. Area of Operation : CHANDIGARH
4. 4. AIMS AND OBJECTIVE :
   1. 1. To establish a forum for exchange and interchange of views and enhancing fellowship amongst its members.
   2. 2. To assist in the establishment of Trauma Anaesthesia and Critical Care as an important subspeciality of anaesthesia
   3. 3. The objects for which the Society (hereinafter called The Society") is established are:-
   1. a). To propagate and maintain high standardi of clinical practice in field of accidents, Trauma Anaesthesia and critical care.
   2. b). To enhance the academics in this field under the guidance of premier academic institutes of India
   3. c). Improving the profile of trauma anaesthesia and intensive care. information,sharing. mentoring, and fostering national internal networking for professional development.
   4. d). To provide adequate and high standards of continuous medical education and training.
   5. e). To organize workshops, seminars, conferences etc. in various disciplines of Anaesthesia.
   6. f). To engage in any other similar activity that may be consiclered essential for the achievement of the above said aims and objectives of the society
   7. g). To raise funds through, grants. donations, subscription, loans etc for the fulfillment of aims and objectives of the society.
   8. h). To aid in development of prehospital trauma care in India. The Society Will aim at training medical fraternity at level ill. IV Trauma centres for taking care of injured patients, holding awareness TO cams for ubliC and alike.
   9. i). To render approprcate financial help to the merobers accotdtng to the availability funds e/g academic activity, research, fellowship observership etc.
   10. j). To acuquire by purchase, donations, gifts or otherqise any movabale and immovable properties, right interests and titles in the interest of Society and its objects to manage them.
   11. k). To rsaise funds to carry out the activities of the Society.
   12. l). To do all things as are incidental and conductive to the attainment of the above objects or any of them.
   13. m). The Society will aim to hold national annual conference and hence will require setting up significant infrastructure to manage budge and lability

OTHER IMPORTANT CONDITION REQUIRED TO BE FULFILLED UNDER THE SOCIETIES REGISTRATIOIN ACT, 1860

1. i). The income and property of the Society shall be applied towards the promotion of the objects of the Society asset set forth in the Memorandum of Society and no portion thereof, shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly towards the members of the Society
2. ii). No member of the Governing Body of the Society shall be appointed to any salaried office of the Society or any office of the Society paid by fees, that no remuneration shall be given by the Society to any member of such Governing Body except repayment of out of pocket expenses and interest on money lent or spent for premises/demises to the Society.
3. iii). The Society by its constitution is required to apply •its profits, if any or other income in promoting the objectives of the Society.
4. iv). If upon the winding up or dissåution of the Society, there remains after realiazation of its debts and liabilities any property whatsoever the same shall not be paid to or distributed among the members of the Society but shall be given or transferred too some other institution having objectives similar to the objectives of Jhe Society which will be determined by the executive body of the Society at or before the time of dissolution.
5. v). The management of the affairs of the Society is entrusted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Society to a Governing Body of which the founder members are :-
